Aeroplane stretch to help my hips
Prevention of Injuries can be achievable when you have the right content. This post will help with increasing your range of movement of the hips with an easy exercise demonstrated in the Youtube video.
I’ve found in my osteopathic clinic that once they have had to deal with an injury they tend to want to prevent the injury long term. Great well, you can use osteopathic techniques to help with that but you can also do a lot at home to help yourself as well. These exercises that I am going to demonstrate in the video can be one of the exercises that you equip yourself with to help with prevention for longevity. The hip aeroplane, or also referred to as the aeroplane stretch is a great way to encourage the internal rotation of the hip. Just a quick break down; Hip internal rotation is the twisting movement of your thigh inward from your hip joint. If you try this while standing, your foot should also turn so that your toes are pointing toward the rest of your body. Sweet so now you are familiar with this movement its important that we keep this movement because it is the age-old statement.
