Craig O’Connor


As a structural Osteopath consultant Craig focuses on how the biomechanics of your body enables functional movement, allowing you to perform your everyday tasks. He uses movement screening processes to assist your treatment and uses a range of soft tissue, mobilisation, manipulation, massage and expert advice on patient-specific exercises. Craig has worked with many athletes of all sports but specialised in injury prevention and rehabilitation of Netballers Crossfitters and Runners. In recent times Craig has focused on working with the CrossFit community, where he assists New Zealand top Crossfitters, who of note recently won the Pacific Regional competition. 

Craig completed his masters' degree, where his thesis focused on “Kapa Haka and the associated benefits in which it contributed to the health and well-being of Kaihaka”, (Performer of Kapa Haka). Additionally, whilst studying, Craig was a recipient of a number of Ministry of Health scholarships and a men’s health scholarship, which funded his project for providing healthcare for trade’s people. Born and bred on the beautiful East coast of New Zealand, Craig loves going for a spearfish or catching a wave. Craig is also a keen Judoka, (a person who practises judo).
